If you have Medicare as a primary and BC/BS or Aetna, or AARP, or United as a secondary, and have paid your $185 Medicare deductible for 2020, then Dr. Sherman will submit your superbill to his billing agency, which will bill Medicare directly. If the above statement is true, then you should not be charged for the consultation.
Sorry, but Dr. Sherman does not accept Medicare Advantage and many other insurance plans. Your charge would then be $250 per consultation. He does accept BC & Sun Saver plans. Please call 386-673-5969 and ask Matt, his receptionist, if you have questions.
You can conveniently pay by Visa, Master Card or American Express.
What are the steps for me to start the consultation?
Step #1- Simply take a cell phone photo of your Medicare card and secondary supplement card like BC/BS, AARP etc. Send your photo to Dr. Sherman’s encrypted email: shermtbederm@protonmail.com.
Step #2- If your disease is not active and you have no areas to photograph, then just take a cell phone photograph of your lab or path reports, if available.
Step #3 – Please download and fill out his information and history forms. Then photograph the finished forms with your cell phone and email to Dr. Sherman’s secure encrypted email which is shermthederm@protonmail.com.
Step #4 - Please put the phone # that you want him to call you on and the times you are available to have your consultation with him. He is available Monday through Friday. Weekends and holidays are for urgent consultations. His staff will call you to set up a mutually beneficial time. To maintain his privacy, he will be blocking his phone number when he calls you. If your phone or carrier has it set up not to accept blocked calls, please disable or remove that function as he will not be able to get through to you for your important consultation.
